Here’s What’s Happening in September

September 2025 is Full of Events and Happenings Ripe for Marketing, Publicity, and Social Media Posting.

There’s no escaping that Leaf Peeping has become a national obsession along with Pumpkin Spice everything this time of year.

New England seasonal tourism is at its finest in Vermont, where wilderness covers 75 percent of the land. Surrounded by more maple trees than anywhere else in the region. Here you'll find the brightest of yellows, oranges, and reds on nearly every highway and country road.

Fall tourism makes up for about 25% of New England travel, hosting around 3.9 million fall visitors each year. Fall color enthusiasts have become so numerous that many towns in Vermont have chosen to close roads to keep the endless parade of cars off of winding, rural roads. But this doesn’t stop the inundation of colorful images on social media as people drink in Autumn tones virtually.

Pick some apples while you’re at it - the Autumn Apple picking ritual keeps many small farms and cider mills financially afloat.
